Your place is my place anywhere in the world (Sally Mendes), 2019-20

'My paintings, drawings and etchings are based on expressing my life. I grew up near the marl caves. Digging in tropical seas among skeletons the scars of the world, and once inside when there is no more daylight transporting yourself to another world.
A bit like a dream that continues into a deep sleep. Something that cannot be translated by language or mind.'
