Creation and destruction mark the work "The Adoration of Captain Cody and the Legend of Starbucks, 2020".
Cody is not only a fictional character from the Great Army of the Republic throughout the Clone Wars.
Cody is above all the street language for a drug (Codeine syrup mixed with alcohol) and manifests itself in a widespread codeine addiction that is mainly under, a far-reaching problem that extends across different ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds.
Gebski's compositions occupy a space between reality and fiction, where creation and destruction are inseparable linked. Gebski's practice, which continues to evolve and manifests itself in the shift from representation to abstraction, from reality to imagination.
